Our Team

Scott is a Lincoln native and has a Marketing and Communications degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He has over 12 years of experience working with branding and positioning within the local market. Scott's expertise lies in both the world of print and interactive media, as well as large format design. Scott has built many great relationships while at Pickering and loves client interaction. "I take my clients very seriously and my projects very personally—I set out to make sure that every project I work on is a proud portfolio piece for Pickering."

As Art Director Scott instills creativity within the team and is constantly motivating them to come up with fresh, innovative ideas. Scott keeps his finger on the pulse and has a keen eye for trends and styles within the visual marketplace. Scott has a diverse client history, harbors a strong design aesthetic and has an extreme attention to detail.

Outside of work Scott spends time with his wife Angie and two children, Kylie and Ryder.  Most of his time during the spring, summer and fall seasons are spent coaching his children's soccer, softball and baseball teams.  Scott's second passion next to design is his love for vintage cars.  He spends his time tinkering and toying with his 1972 Pontiac Lemans and others collected over the years.
